AutoZone Auto Parts

I have been a very satisfied customer for many years going back to when we lived in El Paso. But this time, I want to acknowledge one individual in particular. On my recent visit and on previous ones, I have an opportunity to be taken care of my auto needs with a young lady by the name Rachel. She is not only knowledgeable, but has caring attitude about her work. She is definitely an asset to Auto Zone.

My wife asked if I could leave a review. She had to help my son get a part for his vehicle before he drove off to Texas A&M. She said the man and women that helped her were exceptionally friendly and helpful. In her words, "they were so nice" Thanks whoever you are for helping her. It was one less stressful thing she had to deal with while getting our son back to college.

Thank you Anthony!!! The manager Anthony helped me today with an issue with a part I ordered delivered from Autozone that was missing the main component of the part. He listened patiently, intently and then went above and beyond to right the issue! You have made a repeat customer out of me and I sincerely appreciate you!!!!! THANK YOU!!

I placed an online order, and per the instructions, I needed to wait for an email, before proceeding to pick up my item. I waited a couple of hours. I had not received an email so, I called the store. I spoke to George, he puts me on hold. Then he comes back and tells me a second time, that they have it in stock. Then he says,”you’ll get your email in a couple of seconds.” My concern is, if I had not called, I wouldn’t have gotten an email. This was my first time using their service, and most of the time, I choose O’Reilys their competitor because, they have much better customer service. In the future, I will stick with O’Reily because, there really is no difference with price since, you get what you pay for!

I keep forgetting to write this review before I forgot. On tues. morning around 9am Dec 12 2023 I was passing through Kyle from oklahoma on my way down to the valley. I had been having problems recently with my engine hesitating to start. I didnt think it was the battery at 1st because I had jus had my battery replaced 1 year earlier at Firestone. Anyway, that morning I took it to Firestone in Kyle but they said they couldnt even look at it until the next day but I could take it to Autozone and they could diagnose it for me. I took it to Autozone and they hooked up the diagnostic machine to it and the tech said " Its not your battery, its your alternator" I was like well hell, thats gonna be expensive. I almost had a mobile mechanic that the Autozone tech recommended come replace it for $700 or something like that. I decided to chance it and drive it down to Brownsville as I needed to get there for a family emergency. I took it to the Honda dealer and guess what? All it needed was a new battery..Soooo therefore I have to give 1 star here for almost costing me almost a grand in unnecessary repairs..You should either use updated diagnostic equipment ot train your sevice guys better on how to use them....thanks
